Q1: How long does the scent last?
A: For humans, the scent lasts for up to three months. However, dogs can benefit from the aroma for longer periods of time due to their acute sense of smell.

Q2: How much essential oil is included in the device?
A: Three to four drops of oil are absorbed within the foam.

Q3: What is the foam made from?
A: Hydrophilic polyurethane, a small piece of which is maintained inside the device.

Q4: Does Collar Calm require any solvents, alcohol, or Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) to diffuse the scent?
A: No, the device does not contain any liquids, chemicals, or propellants – just three to four drops of essential oil that are completely absorbed into a small piece of foam inside the device.

A: The scent is diffused by way of evaporation when the device is in the "open" position.
 

Q6: How does Collar Calm work?
A: When in the "open" position, the device is designed to provide comfort through the release of essential oil scent molecules in the form of dry ambient air. The goal is for anxious dogs to identify the device's scent with a sense of comfort.

Q7: Is Collar Calm guaranteed to have a positive outcome when used?
A: While there is no guarantee, essential oils can have a therapeutic effect on dogs.

Q9: Is Collar Calm OK for multiple pet households?
A: Yes. The scent is not being sprayed in the room for all to breath. It is released via each individual dog's Collar Calm device when it is in the "open" position. In addition, the small amount of essential oils used in the device is of a therapeutic grade and considered to be very gentle and energetically safe for all animals.
